Partial Hospitalization Program

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is widely considered to be one of the most intensive treatments available as it relates to outpatient settings. The PHP, also can be referred to as day treatment, offers a comprehensive treatment approach for assisting individuals in overcoming mental health issues and substance use disorder. PHP treatment typically takes place 5/7days a week, atleast four hours a day and includes, medication management group/individual therapy, and can involve some level of family involvement. Fostering a healthy transition is one of the primary goals of a php. Thus, each patient participates in a daily routine that helps to build cognitive and behavioral skills. PHP services help to strengthen a patient's recovery while also boosting self-esteem.
